Privacy policy

We collect as little as we can, and we tell you exactly what and why.

1. Who is responsible

2. What we collect and why

Visiting the site

When you open a page, our hosting and security provider Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This is needed to deliver the page and protect the site from attacks. Legal basis (where GDPR applies): legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Logs are kept for a short period only.

Cookie choice

We store your cookie decision in a small cookie so we don't ask again. Legal basis: legal obligation and legitimate interest.

Affiliate and conversion tracking

When you click a partner link, we and our tracking provider AnyTrack record the click, a click ID, the page you came from and, if you arrived through an ad, the ad click ID (such as Google's gclid). If you later buy from the partner, the affiliate network (Everflow and the partner store) reports the sale back so we receive our commission and so Google Ads can measure which ads work. We never receive your name, address or payment details from the store.

Where required, this only happens with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time in the .

Google Ads

We advertise with Google Ads and use Google's conversion measurement with Consent Mode v2. Provider: Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC. Details: Google privacy policy.

Email

If you write to us, we use your email and message only to answer you. We delete it when it is no longer needed, unless we have to keep it by law.

3. Service providers

  • Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, security, content delivery)
  • AnyTrack Ltd. (click and conversion tracking)
  • Everflow Technologies, Inc. and the affiliate networks we work with (attribution of sales)
  • Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC (advertising and conversion measurement)

Some of these providers process data in the United States. Transfers are covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

4. How long we keep data

Only as long as needed for the purpose above. Tracking data is generally kept for up to 12 months, then deleted or anonymised.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live you have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, to restrict or object to processing and to withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

California and other U.S. states

We don't sell personal information for money. Sharing click data with advertising partners may count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under some state laws. You can opt out at any time with the cookie settings link, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals. To exercise your rights, write to hello@toptestedpicks.com. We won't discriminate against you for using them.

6. Children

This site is not aimed at children under 16 and we don't knowingly collect their data.

7. Changes

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top always shows the current version.
